What we collect when you ask us for a quote, where it goes, and how to have it removed. Last updated 29 October 2026.
The short version
We collect what you type into the quote form, and nothing else. There are no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers on this site. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
What we collect
When you send a configuration through the quote form, we receive the name, email address, telephone number, company and shipping address you enter, the configuration itself, and any notes you add. You choose what to put in those fields; only an email address is needed for us to reply.
Our server also records the IP address a submission arrives from. It is used to stop the form being used for spam — the form accepts a limited number of submissions from one address in a given period — and for no other purpose.
While you are building a configuration, your browser keeps it on your own device so it survives a page reload. That information stays in your browser. It is not sent to us until you submit the form, and you can clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
This site sets no cookies.
Where it goes
A submitted quote is emailed to our sales address and stored on our own server, which we operate ourselves rather than renting from a hosting company. The people who can see it are the staff who prepare your quote.
Two companies handle your data because they carry it: our network provider, which passes traffic between your browser and our server and filters abusive requests, and our email provider, which delivers the message. Neither is given your information for their own use.
We do not transfer your information to anyone else, and we do not sell it. The only circumstances in which we would hand it over are a valid legal demand, or to protect our own rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for three years so that we can honour a quote, handle a warranty claim against an order, and meet our own record-keeping obligations. After that they are deleted. Email we have exchanged with you is kept for the same period.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will not ask you why, and asking costs nothing. We aim to answer within 30 days.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — California residents under the CCPA, residents of the EU or UK under the GDPR — including the right to know what is held, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. We apply the same practice to everyone regardless of where they are.
We have never sold personal information and have no plans to.
Children
This is a business-to-business site for enterprise hardware. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, administrative pages are restricted, and the server is kept patched and backed up. No system is perfect, and we would rather say so plainly than promise otherwise. If you believe you have found a security problem with this site, please write to [email protected] — we would rather hear from you.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly edited in.
