Dell EMC VxRail S570 (2U storage-dense appliance)

Check what you are selling before quoting this one. "S570" is a Dell EMC VxRail appliance node, not a PowerEdge model: the VxRail S570 is the storage-dense node, built on the PowerEdge R740xd platform and normally sold with VMware vSAN. Resold as bare hardware it behaves as an R740xd — see R740xd.md for the platform's processor, memory, slot and drive details.

What carries over from the R740xd platform

• Two Socket P (LGA 3647), Intel Xeon Scalable 1st or 2nd generation
• 24 DIMM slots, DDR4 RDIMM / LRDIMM
• 2U chassis with front, mid and rear drive-bay options
• PERC RAID / HBA330 storage controllers, BOSS M.2 boot card, IDSDM
• iDRAC9 with Lifecycle Controller

Things specific to the VxRail build

• The chassis label and service tag read VxRail, and the firmware/support entitlement is VxRail-managed — a VxRail node is not entitled to PowerEdge firmware bundles
• vSAN-oriented layout: a cache tier plus capacity drives, and an HBA330 in pass-through rather than a RAID-5 PERC
• VxRail Manager and the vSAN licence do not transfer with used hardware; sell it as a bare node

Caveat on this listing

Your workbook row reads "Dell PowerEdge S570 2U 16L LGA3647". Dell has no PowerEdge S570, and the VxRail S570 ships as a 12 × 3.5" node, so the "16L" figure needs verifying against the actual chassis before it goes in a quote.
